When Kerry and Lyla Henderson started Pool World in 1976, they had one goal in mind: build a business based on customer satisfaction. Because of our commitment to doing things right for the customer, Pool World has grown to become the largest pool and spa business in the Inland Northwest.
Today, that commitment to our customers has been passed on to a new generation. Son, Mark, is active in the company, working to make sure every customer at Pool World is a happy one.
Since 1976, we have been able to expand to 4 store locations and over 60 employees. “We sell more than pools and hot tubs,” says Mark. “We are in the business of giving people fun and relaxation. Our goal is to have 100% customer satisfaction. That’s very important to us, and it’s very important to our customers.”

Pool World is always searching for new talent who can make an impact on our company. Job diversity is one of our company’s strong points. We offer a variety of job opportunities ranging from construction to service, or hot tub sales to clerical work. Due to the diversity offered, lateral movements within the company is not uncommon. Being able to cross-train employees is very beneficial, and encourages our veteran employees to be very well-rounded. Our hiring process for seasonal positions begins in April and is generally complete by the end of May.
