Scheduled Your Pool Opening? - February 08, 2016
Spring isn’t too far away! Have you given any thought to summer and your swimming pool? Now is the perfect time to call and get scheduled for a pool opening!
Our area may have some snow, ice or slush hanging around but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be preparing for Spring and Summer! There are a few reasons why scheduling your pool opening earlier in the spring will benefit you and your family in the long run!
Spring is a little unpredictable! There are days where temperatures will rise to the 70’s or 80’s easily and it’s wonderful to have the backyard ready. Kids of all ages will be able to jump in and cool off on the warmer days.
Did you know that if you opened your pool in April it will have less visible algae growth! The warmer days of May allow algae plenty of time and warmth to grow. Sometimes the warmer weather during the winter and spring allow the algae to bloom into a mess before the swimming season has even kicked off! Starting your swimming pool earlier allows time to clear up any murky issues that may arise without interfering with swimming or cooling off!
Opening your swimming pool earlier can be uplifting. Crystal clean water with sunshine sparkling off the surface will help you embrace the coming months of summer! Enjoy looking out across your backyard and seeing a sparkling swimming pool instead of a winter cover with debris across it!
Cost effective… Who would of thought that phrase went along with a swimming pool?!? Well it’s true, if a swimming pool is opened sooner, there is the added cost for electricity to run the pump and filtration system. Keep in mind that if the swimming pool is opened later, than the cost of opening will increase with added water care products to clear up the water. Sometimes pool owners have to purchase three or four times the amount of shock, water clarifier, and other products to just see the bottom of their swimming pool by the end of June!
Those are just a few of the reasons to open your pool sooner! Our Operations Department’s Opening Season Schedule is first come first serve. Call in today and reserve the date you want before it’s gone!!

February is almost here! - January 29, 2016
Did you know that February is American Heart Health Month! This is to increase awareness of heart disease. Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in the United States in both men and women. One in four deaths each year has been linked to heart disease.
These statistics are really frightening but heart disease can be prevented by changing your lifestyle and opting for more healthy options while helping to manage other health conditions.
Here at Pool World, we carry a variety of products to improve your life. Hot Spring, Caldera, Free Flow Hot Tubs, Finnleo Saunas, Swim Spa and last but not least; swimming pools. All of these items have the ability to improve your life, and reduce the threat in heart disease!!
Hot tubs are known to help reduce stress! While enjoying the warm pulsating jets, your body relaxes which allows your sympathetic nervous system to decrease and your parasympathetic nervous system to increase. Once both of these nervous systems have adjusted, your body falls into balance. This state of balance has been connected to reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.
