It’s almost Christmas and the snow is starting to fall and our construction department is hard at work installing and prepping for multiple pool installations this winter.
Over the past few weeks our area has seen some really cold temperatures and our weather has been a little unpredictable but this doesn’t stop our crews. During that last cold snap when everything was dead frozen our crews plowed through some tough rock to excavate this new pool. Actually, it was easier to get through the rock then the dirt because it was just that frozen.
This particular job is located right here in the SpokaneValley. The picture that is depicted below is a 18x40 gunite swimming pool in process. In the next few months this pool will be completed and designed with a variety of special features just for their family. This pool design includes all the bells and whistles including colored lights, a diving board, an automatic cover, a slide, multiple colored laminar deck jets, a sun bathing deck, cascade bubblers, a full automation with communication through iPhone app and pc connection and even automated water care system.
One of our favorite aspects of any gunite pool is the custom interior finish. When creating a custom pool, there are a variety of finishes to select, including different textures, colors and even tile options. The pool is created to meet the desires of our clients.

Team & Club Rewards to Spokane Humane Society - December 19, 2013
We are excited to announce that another Team and Club Reward Donation has been dedicated to The Spokane Humane Society, George and Penny B. This donation was possible because they purchased a new 2012 Hot Spring Hot Spot TX Hot Tub.
The Spokane Humane Society is a wonderful local non-profit organization that was established in 1897 and today provides services such as an AdoptionCenter that is open 7 days a week, veterinary services, community outreach, pet food bank, animal compassion fund and too many other services to list them all. They are a fabulous organization to support. They could use all the help they can get!
George and Penny’s new TX hot tub has a few special features that were added just for them! A Leisure Concepts Cover Mat 1 cover lifter was installed to assist with moving the hot tub cover on and off and a Durastep II was also included for easy access getting in and out of the tub. Last but not least item is the Silent Flo5000 Circulation Pump. This addition will keep the water continually flowing and filtering through the hot tub. A circulation pump helps to insure more consistent water chemistry, sanitation, and clarity. It’s an upgrade that is well worth it.
This is the time of year that our community comes together and make sure that our local families in need don’t go hungry during this holiday season. To help create a bright and merry holiday season, the local food banks come together to assemble special holiday meals that include ham or turkey plus all the fixings and sides. With these meals, each food bank is able to provide hope and happiness during this time of year.
During the holidays, the local food bank in our area needs all the assistance that the local community can provide, that is why Pool World is excited to announce the Team and Club Reward donation that was dedicated yesterday to the Coeur d’Alene Food Bank which is apart of Community Action Partnership. This donation was possible because Skip and Gayle W. purchased a 2013 Hot SpringTX.
A huge thanks to Skip & Gayle W. for selecting such a wonderful cause during our holiday season. The Coeur d’Alene Food Bank was very appreciative of their generosity to their needy organization. It will be going directly into their holiday meal packages.
